Stuart Harris was a loving husband of 51 years to Margaret, a caring father to Peter Gary and Susan and a much loved Grandpa to Gabriella, Francesca, Charlie, Sarah and Hugh. His loyalty and integrity won him many friends as did his passion for good food, fine wine and travel. He was a true gentleman whose life was sadly cut short on 11th July 2009 by Pulmonary Fibrosis resulting in him literally dying for every breath. He had just turned 75. Pulmonary Fibrosis has no cure, is little known and often misdiagnosed. To "do my bit" in ensuring much needed research continues into this debilitating disease, i have committed to run the Paris marathon on 10th April this year. Your support in helping me to cross the finish line and ultimately in helping sufferers, such as my dad, to live a longer and more comfortable existence (and ultimately find a cure) is certain to help alot of people breathe a little easier.
